Jacqueline’s Weekly Newsletter 🤍

Happy Monday, Y’all!

I hope you had a fantastic week! Ours was packed with kids’ events, appointments, work, and taking care of the animals. We ended the week with a relaxing trip to the farmers market, and now I finally have a chance to sit down and catch up with you.

What Should You Look for in a Relationship?

Recently, some of you have asked about finding the right partner and building a strong relationship. Here are a few insights I’ve gathered over the years:

1. Do the Inner Work

Start by defining your core values, how you envision raising a family, where you’d like to live, and more. While these may evolve over time, having a strong foundation helps you navigate changes together.

2. Understand Your Love Language

For my husband and me, our love language is communication. Open conversations about our future, family, and dreams keep us connected. Discovering what speaks to both you and your partner is truly transformative.

3. Envision the Future

Take time to outline where you want to be in 5–10 years. Knowing your passions, hobbies, and personal goals will help you identify qualities you want in a partner.

4. Get Yourself Out There

- Offline Ideas: Attend events or activities that genuinely interest you—whether it’s the gym, church, marathons, or community groups. Surrounding yourself with like-minded people can help you meet someone who shares your values.

- Online Dating: Be upfront about what you’re looking for. Authenticity attracts the right people.

5. Think Outside the Box

Skip the typical bar or club scene. Instead, explore spaces that align with your lifestyle. Meeting someone who matches your energy often starts with being in places that genuinely make you happy.
