Jacqueline's Weekly Newsletter 🤍

Hello, Friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are feeling refreshed, ready to take on the week ahead!

This weekend was all about deep cleaning for me—tackling what felt like an endless mountain of laundry. Thankfully, I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel… at least for this week! 🤣

A Busy Week Ahead
This week is packed with activities: kid classes, filming 10 episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, home projects, and more. Knowing it would be hectic, I took some time to get organized and streamline as many tasks as possible.

One thing that helps me at the beginning of each month is a good old brain dump. I jot down everything on my mind—whether it’s creative projects, house tasks, kid activities, or even new recipes I want to try. Then, on Sunday nights, I create my weekly to-do list, prioritizing the most important tasks. Here are a few of my go-to strategies to manage the chaos:

1. Stay Hydrated
I always keep a glass of water by my bed to kick-start the day. It’s a small habit, but it sets the tone for a healthy morning.

2. Early Riser (Sometimes)
I try to wake up an hour or two before the kids to enjoy some "me time"—whether it’s reading, using a red light panel, or getting breakfast ready. Though I have to admit, that doesn’t always happen—especially when little ones crawl into bed!

3. Sunday Meal Prep
Sundays are for meal prep. I make things easier for the week by prepping hard-boiled eggs, burger patties, soups, and chopped fruits and veggies. I store them on the lower shelves in the fridge so the kids can grab what they need.

4. Workout Accountability
I book all my workout classes on Sunday night to stay accountable. If I don’t schedule them ahead of time, it’s much harder to fit them in with everything else going on.

5. Use a Task Manager App
Having a task manager app helps me stay on track and reminds me to prioritize self-care. As moms, we’re always on the go and tend to forget to pause for ourselves! I love using productivity apps like "Day Flow" to stay focused.

For Those Without Kids
If you don’t have kids, this might sound overwhelming, but let me tell you—it’s the most rewarding feeling in the world. Being a mom is my absolute favorite role, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. If it’s part of your journey, I hope you get to experience this joy one day!

6. Block Scheduling
I’m a big fan of block scheduling. Mornings are for workouts and some personal time, followed by reading with the kids and family time. Midday is for emails, calls, and filming. I also schedule kids’ activities like outdoor play, creative time, and enrichment classes. It doesn’t always go perfectly, but checking off a few things each day feels like a win!

I hope this wasn’t too long! I love connecting with you all. Let me know what you'd like to hear about in future newsletters or on social media.

Much love to you!
